Nagaya Paper Labは、東京都墨田区京島にある、
昭和7年に建てられた七軒長屋の一角に生まれたスタジオです。

アートブックの販売を軸に、
印刷や製本のための設備を備え、
コーヒーとともに過ごせる場所として運営していきます。

この建物は戦火をくぐり抜け、現在まで残ってきました。
長く戦争をテーマに制作してきた自分にとって、
この場所に拠点を持つことに、どこか巡り合わせのようなものを感じています。

制作、流通、鑑賞といった行為が、
ゆるやかに重なり合う場として、
写真に限らず、さまざまな表現に開かれた場所を目指します。

Nagaya Paper Lab

Nagaya Paper Lab is a studio located in Kyojima, Sumida Ward, Tokyo,
born in a corner of a row of seven houses built in 1932.

Focused on the sale of art books,
it will operate as a place equipped for printing and bookbinding,
where people can also spend time with coffee.

This building survived the war and remains standing to this day.
For me, having long created works on the theme of war,
I feel a sense of destiny in establishing my base here.

We aim to create a space where acts such as creation, distribution, and appreciation
gently overlap,
open to various forms of expression, not limited to photography.
